Loading... Please wait...- A fast, reliable, conveniant electronic device to identify subclinical mastitis in dairy farm.
MAS-D-TEC is a portable device that measures electrical milk conductivity with a small sample of milk directly collected from the cows's udder. The electrical milk conductivity gives useful information about mastitis development. It helps farmers to identify subclinical mastitis which would not show any visible signs otherwise.
MAS-D-TEC has been developed in the US where studies have shown that mastitis can cause significant money loss, i.e. a few thousands dollars yearly, for average-sized heards (120-150 dairy cows).
The purchase of Mas-D-Tec can result in reduction of previously unidentified cases of mastitis and therefore improved profitability as a result
Mas-D-Tec comes with a full instruction booklet, including service and parts information. It is powered by standard 9 volt alkaline battery which is good for approximately 4000 tests.
